Hello! Gosh, Iām pretty bad at explaining things, but Iāll try. :3 When an item is repositoried, it takes its texture from another item thatās already in the game. For example, many cc creators make the same piece of clothing for different age groups. In order to save space/make smaller file sizes, they will often link the textures to a single age group (which is referred to asĀ ārepositoriedā orĀ ātexture-referencedā). A TF outfit that is repositoried to the AF outfit will take its textures from the AF outfit – that means the AF outfit must be in the game for the textures on the TF outfit to show up. As another example, whattheskell has a massive Maxis repository project going that repositories age conversions, gender conversions, add-ons, separates, etc., to their Maxis counterparts to save space. And space, as we all know, is a valuable thing for our games – it means room for moreĀ custom content. š
I hope that makes a little bit of sense! Iām not the best at explaining things (even less so when I know how the repository-ing actually works XD) but hopefully this helps. Iām sure there are other simmers out there who have explained it way better than I could. XD
Hi hi friend! The secret is camera-man mode, also known as theĀ ātabā key! Click up to the highest floor, then press theĀ ātabā key – from here, you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move up and down without going down to a lower floor. This nifty keyboard chart shows you all the camera controls, you can get some really great angles by playing around in camera-man mode. š Hope this helps!
Oh wow, thank you so much, anon! This is such a sweet message! Iām quite sure Iāve been reduced to a mere puddle under my computer desk. :āD *hugs you forever*
For the dormitory roof, I used the roof pieces that came with Apartment Life (found in Build Mode under the āArchitectureā tab). You place them like regular objects – much easier than fiddling with that dang roofing tool, in my opinion. XD There are also some really neat add-ons here (for both the AL and M&G roofs) that let you create some really unique roof shapes. š Hope that helps! And thank you again!! ā¤Ā

*nervous laughter*
IĀ promise Iām trying to clean it out! (said every Simmer ever) But really, I keep bookmarking a bunch of things Iād love to download but (with few exceptions) I wonāt let myself until I clean out some preexisting cc I never use. š
Coming right up! š
Iāll see what I can do! Iām off on Thursday and the weather is supposed to be crappy, so Iām hoping to make it a TS2 day – maybe I can put a little something up for download. š
I supposeĀ I could upload the apartment complex if no one minds the routing failures andĀ other problems I mentioned here. D: *adds to list*
Hi hi!Ā

The door is by veranka HERE. I also have recolors by lipe2k HERE. š
As for OMSPs, the only ones I use are these. They come in a variety of preset heights and theyāre shiftable if you have Apartment Life, enabling you to place things at virtually any height! If Iām not mistaken, OMSP 1 should be at counter height by default. šĀ
Hope this helps!

Thank you so much, anon!!!! I will still be playing TS2 for a long time to come, I assure you! š ā¤
Hello hello!

Enjoy! š
