What terrain is that? – the first two pics look a lot more orange than the curiousB one I use and blend into the horizon a little better.

I’m using the default Maxis terrain, which looks AMAZING in hood view, but unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired from lot view (which I’m pretty sure is where I took the third picture). Could also definitely be my .psd that makes it look more orange, though. 🙂

dont take it the wrong way, but I only heard Americans answer this question like that lol. Someone ask me that question, ill say im Canadian. They have to ask me about my ancestors to know my ethnicity. 🙂

Well, my blog specifically states I’m a New Yorker, so it can already be inferred I’m American. And, considering I had just posted a picture of myself when I received this ask, one could assume anon was asking purely about my genetic makeup. Which is what I answered. 🙂

The shell-looking sconce from this post (I don’t have my game open at the moment and I’m craptastic at remembering the names of things :x) but apparently it’s not shiftable! And I want to say the torcher luminescence sconce also isn’t? I might be mistaken on that one, but there is at least another wall lamp that I use all the time and I’m always like BLAST IT ALL TO HELL when it doesn’t shift D:

I think Huge Lunatic has a tutorial on making things shiftable, it’s pretty easy.

lmao oh nooooo! At least you don’t have that problem anymore (right???). In my apartment, I think I’m the noisy one hahaha. Not that I make an exceptional amount of noise, but our walls are really thin and my landlord goes to bed super early – so sometimes if I get carried away listening to music or watching TV with the volume up a bit too high, I hear the broom banging on the ceiling LMAO

Yes! Kraftwerk is amazing! I saw them in D.C. during their Kraftwerk 3D tour last year and it was so much fun. I wasn’t sure what to expect (also I don’t really care for most things in 3D) but it was a super cool audio/visual experience. 🙂 I hope they do another show soon (and preferably a little closer to home – I love traveling to new cities, but I can’t always go a couple hundred miles out of the way for a show :)).

Yessss, it’s all thanks to my boyfriend! We both tried for tickets when they went on sale last week and I got completely shut out. When we saw them last summer, they played “Let Down” for the first time in ten years and I CRIED. :3

One thing I love about Tumblr compared to when I used LJ is not having to worry about my picture sizes at all, Tumblr just takes care of that for you and it’s sooo handy!! I don’t miss that!

Ah, I missed this comment in my LJ replies post! Oh well. 😛 But yes, you’re absolutely right! As much as I complain about tumblr, I didn’t realize how easy we had it, with the photo resizing and the themes and being able to edit only certain parts of the CSS if need be. Definitely a lot more customization- and photo-friendly!

When I’m adding new stuff I always run it through now. Got a good routine. Sort stuff into folders, rename the files using Renamer, then compressorize, then transfer to Downloads folder into correct sub folders. Wheee

Ahhhh this is such a good idea! I’m terribly lazy and unorganized and just stick everything straight into my downloads folder (it’s a miracle my game hasn’t exploded yet), but I want to try to be more meticulous about it. “Try” being the operative word. 😛

omg Dustin had an Arrow binge when he returned from Korea, except it was only what’s on Netflix and he was already in s3 by the time i was paying attention, so now i have the most random knowledge of things but nothing from pres3 and not even really who is who it’s awful i need a proper watch myself lmaoooo (I’m so behind on the Flash tho GAH)

Ahh you should definitely watch it! Seasons 1 and 2 were definitely the best so far, 3 was pretty good, I haven’t finished 4 yet but it’s mehhhh. I’m behind on Flash and Legends and Supergirl too. x_x I have so much free time and yet never enough LMAO.

As per the program page here: it’s a program that “will allow you to compress package files in your downloads folder to smaller, more manageable sizes, freeing up space. (Thus making room for even MORE downloads for you download junkies!) On some computers, it also speeds up load time.” 🙂

It was a plaid shirt by Mork! I remembered one that I used to have in my game before I redid my downloads folder and thought it’d be good for one of my defaults. I knew it was by Mork and I knew Aquilegia made the mesh, but the post had a broken image so I must’ve scrolled right past it. 😛 Which led me to searching on MTS, GoS, Google, and Pinterest for an hour…

Awww, thank you! To be honest, I don’t celebrate Halloween too much either (most people around here just use it as an excuse to go out and get drunk, which is fine, but not for me :D). One year I’d like to do an actual Halloween party, where everyone really puts thought and work into their costumes, and we do Halloween things, like bobbing for apples (used to do that as a kid!) or watching a scary movie, or having spooky-themed snacks and drinks. 😀 (Not a Halloween party where everyone just wears a cat ear headband and calls it a costume, and everyone plays beer pong in the basement… been there, done that. :P)

Awww, Horton! 😛 Misery is also quite an interesting name. I think I will change my name mod to that one, even though I rarely need to spawn new townies or NPCs anymore. But change can be fun!

Thank you all for your lovely comments on Luna! 😀 (We both appreciate them. ;D) It wouldn’t have been possible without Zynlos’s genetics, so thanks to @deedee-sims as well! It really is so much more interesting and rewarding to add the genetics of other people’s Sims into the mix. I’m planning to add a lot more Sims into the neighborhood for the next generation and slowly kill off my generic face template townies… 😀

♄  Ashlie, that’s a pretty good idea! I should probably get into the habit of posting the floor plans of my lots since it’s quick and easy and people can just copy based off the screenshots. 🙂 I’m not a skilled enough builder to use that floor-constraint cheat crap or anything crazy so basically, when you look at the floor plans, what you see is what you get LOL.
