voleste made me do it!

Just kidding, I’d been toying with the idea of a TS1 reinstall for awhile now. I had a pretty epic Lord of the Rings-themed ‘hood going on back in my TS1 days and I’m in the mood to recreate it. 🙂 

There are still so many people creating high-quality items for TS1 – I even came across a bunch of TS3/TS2 -> TS1 conversions! I’m excited to start a whole new kind of CC downloading spree. XD

Here’s something I made tonight – my very first community lot! This little bar/music venue is based on an actual bar in Brooklyn, a place that’s near and dear to my heart because I played my very first gig there. So I thought I’d immortalize it in my game and give all of my performing Sims a place to shine.

It’s definitely a work in progress but here it is in it’s simplest form. I’m also very proud to note that the zebra painting from the Ikea stuff pack is actually in the real life bar. Here’s the proof.

Damn, this really does look like it!

I miss not knowing about custom content.
I miss not knowing about mods and cheats.
I miss having a game that ran with no lag, no errors, no random closing and that I was just content with because I thought I couldn’t really do anything about it.

Imagine how healthy my laptop would sound rather than it sounding like it’s going to explode and millions of pixel hairs and random decor will come forth and bury me in my own greediness.
