I was over at MTS looking for Honeywell’s nursery add-on set, and I came across THIS – functional appliance shelves! How cool is that?!? You can put stuff like coffeemakers and microwaves on the shelf above the counter, and Sims can still use them! *downloads immediately* I can’t wait to try these out!

Many, many thanks to getmygameon, deedee-sims, hexagonal-bipyramid, honeycomas, tombstoneoflifeanddeath, ddeathflower, thesimtraveler, mir-sims, zombies-who-speak-simlish, permaplat, absaurussims, frottana-sims, jackobsim, taylors-simblr, holleyberry, starlla, theatticbox, dirk-dreamer, and a very sweet anon for sending me that favorite blogs message thingy that was going around – you have each made me a very happy Fi! ❤ I tried/wanted to respond to everyone individually, but my computer time has been so scarce lately (and trying to do anything on the mobile app is asking for a migraine). I just wanted to let you know that the sentiments are completely mutual and I love you all! FWEEEEEE 😀 *happily spins in computer chair*

Hi everyone! I somehow came up with the brilliant idea to sift through my 22k+ likes as a long-term kind of project (don’t all the best ideas happen in the wee hours of the morning?). 

Sadly, tumblr’s “like” system does not make it easy to go back and find things later on (unless I’m missing something?). So in order to better organize posts with downloads, resources, how-tos, floorplans, and other generally inspiring decor or imagery, I’ve created two side blogs: fi-hearts ( simspiration blog) and simper-fi-finds (downloads & resources). Feel free to follow if you’d like, though they’re not going to be updated in any official way. It’s more for my own personal organization purposes. 🙂

That’s all, I hope to get some play time in soon – had work all weekend and I’m looking forward to getting out early tomorrow! 🙂

Friendly update to let everyone know I’ve changed the name of my cc finds blog to simper-finds as per a suggestion from woohoodlums! It was too clever to pass up. 😀 Thank you! ❤

Thank you! Ireland is absolutely gorgeous – I highly recommend everyone go there at least once if possible! I’m already fantasizing about my next trip. 😀

No rain?! Are you sure you were actually in the UK…?

I’m not sure anymore! XD Really though, we had fantastic weather in Ireland – a bit chilly the first day in Dublin, but plentiful sunshine. I definitely did not pack appropriately. 😛 When we were in England, our bus got caught in a thunderstorm on the way back from Stonehenge, but other than that, nothing. The forecast for our last day said 60% chance of rain all day, and we had hardly a cloud in the sky. I feel like I didn’t have a true Irish/British experience. XD

Thank you! The beams are just incredibly obtrusive. D: I was originally only going to place a few of them, but then I liked the way they looked so I added some more, then I got carried away. I stupidly placed the beams before I did the interior decorating, and instead of deleting and laying down the beams all over again afterwards, I decided to decorate from “inside” (zoomed all the way in, rather than utilizing the overhead view because the beams completely block it). Super annoying. :
