hey everyone!

I’m still here, albeit as more of a lurker lately. 🙂 Moving to the new apartment has been keeping me busy! On one hand, since it’s located so close to my parents’ place, it’s easy to bring stuff over as I need it. On the other hand, since there’s no real sense of urgency, it feels like I still have so much to do because I’m taking my sweet time. 😛 My desktop is still at my parents’ place, so TS2 time is limited at the moment.

However! I did have time to fire up my game this weekend while bf was at work, and I played 1.5 rounds in Sycamore Cove! I’m behind in posting, of course, but it felt so good to get actual gameplay in. I was in a bit of a rut (constantly loading my game and not having the energy to play, or just wanting to build or play around in bodyshop, etc.). But I forced myself to just play for a little bit without focusing too much on screenshots, etc., just to get the neighborhood moving again. I think it worked. 🙂 I’m off to load up my game again and hopefully queue up some screenshots while I’m at it.

This song has always been one of my favorite AC songs for many reasons – I love the imagery in the lyrics, which perfectly encapsulates summer nights in NYC (appropriate since temps hit 85 here the last two days), also for the nostalgia factor (this is one of the songs my bf introduced me to maaany years ago when we first started dating, and now we’re moving in together so things are coming full circle!).
