I love him! ❤ I’ve been having Evelyn spend a lot of time with him (since there’s no one else in the household to worry about). I think pets in TS2 are so cute. :3

do you have the noautopetbuy hack? It stops neighbours from adopting pets while unplayable

I don’t think I do? I didn’t even know unplayable Sims could adopt pets! Maybe I should look into that hack just in case. 😛

I know! I always feel guilty but it’s like, your apartment is downstairs! Just go home! I always wonder if it’s my game that does this, or just the usual Maxis bugginess on apartment lots that makes residents hang out everywhere but their own place. 😛

So it’s not gamebreaking bad. But still! They need to keep it in their pants! I have no problems with my Sims going out and ~getting some~, but it always kills me a little inside when they have a SO in the picture and insist on doing it anyway! 😛

i can’t believe i am jealous of a sim’s breasts. it has gotten to a low, low point. she is beautiful though ❤

ahahahah SAME THO. And the whole time I’m just smh that this is the Maxis definition of “fat.” 😐 I don’t like a lot of things about TS3 and TS4, but more diverse body shapes was definitely a plus.

1. Tell me the story of how you started playing.
I started with TS1 waaaaaay back in – I don’t know, 2001 or 2002? A long time ago. D: I was staying with family down in Virginia and one of my cousins had it and was trying to teach me how to play. I remember building a massive box house and making the Weasley family. 😛 I got the game for myself shortly after. I don’t remember the exact moment I discovered custom content, but as we all know, life was never the same after that! XD I remember Party Sims being one of the first CC sites I ever found. Somewhere during 2003-2004 was when my Lord of the Rings obsession was at its peak, and I had all of Debsy’s and Tig’s LotR skins and lots and everything, gahhhhh the nostalgia. *_* (I still have urges to revisit my TS1/LotR days!)

My best friend in high school got TS2 when it came out, and we used to take turns playing it at her house on her uncle’s tricked-out Alienware computer. 😛 I wanted it so badly but my ancient PC with Windows ME (YES, ME) couldn’t handle it. (I still continued to obsessively play TS1 during this time!) I finally got a new computer in 2006, got TS2, and the rest is history! 

12. Biggest achievement in the game?
I never play challenges so I’ve never reached any “end goal”, per se. I guess my biggest achievement is Sycamore Cove itself? Just in terms of how many families I have, and how many lots I’ve built (especially since I never used to be a lot builder – imagine that?!). OH! Maybe my biggest achievement is playing two sets of families with quadruplets without having any of them taken away by the social worker. XD

Hahah, the colors I chose are pretty arbitrary, they don’t really mean anything themselves. But I used them to section off the things I wanted to sort into different collections, like separated plants, pots, Mutske’s add-ons, WFS plants, potted plants, plants in vases, hanging plants… it’s still a work in progress, as the mess on the bottom shows. 😛

They’re by Wood for Sims, but I use these slaved versions by Shasta. ❤ (Gah, it takes me so long to find anything on GoS, I used to have a much better system of organizing my GoS downloads…)

The edging is part of this set by buggybooz. 😀 (If you’ve ever played Rollercoaster Tycoon, it reminded me of trying to lay down different parts of track, such as deciding how tight I wanted the turns to be. XD)

Hi there! I have two lots up for download from nearly a year ago – I haven’t put anything else up since then although I’ve been meaning to upload the diner for ages. I don’t have an aversion to sharing my lots, it’s just a bit time-consuming. For example, when I put my first lots up for download, a lot of the master meshes and Maxis recolors were missing and although I linked to the original sets, I’d like to be able to provide all of the necessary CC in the same zip. So I plan to eventually redo those zips, upload the diner, and then perhaps I’ll share some other lots. 🙂

Well, I used a standard Maxis beach lot to make the boardwalk and used the “deck” foundation to slightly elevate it. For the pier itself (that extends over the water), I used this lovely tutorial by mustluvcatz! ❤
