i find branching out in kitchens to be SO HARD. i know i keep reusing the same cabinets and colors even the shapes and it’s driving me crazy D: lmao even when i look at picture inspo somehow i slip back into my comfortable blues or yellows lmao aaaahhhhh. i really want to do a dang Scandinavian style kitchen sometime too! all the same LOVE YOURS
Ugh Scandinavian style is one of my favorites! ❤ I tend to look up modern/urban kitchens and a lot of them use clean lines and monochrome colors (as opposed to mission-style or craftsman kitchens with wood finishes). I need to branch out as well! I also look up inspiration from IKEA a lot (but that’s also to get ideas for a future apartment lmao)
Napping is a daily essential for me. 🙂 10/10 would recommend. 🙂
I took one today and it was glorious! I’d take more if those pesky 14-hour shifts didn’t get in the way. Time to live (or at least work) somewhere where they honor siestas. 😉
Today was my day off and I did the exact same thing except I actually opened the game and let it stay open all day while I napped and watched Netflix lol

The shell-looking sconce from this post (I don’t have my game open at the moment and I’m craptastic at remembering the names of things :x) but apparently it’s not shiftable! And I want to say the torcher luminescence sconce also isn’t? I might be mistaken on that one, but there is at least another wall lamp that I use all the time and I’m always like BLAST IT ALL TO HELL when it doesn’t shift D:
I think Huge Lunatic has a tutorial on making things shiftable, it’s pretty easy.

Haha! I have so many downloaded because I love the patterns or because they look so pretty in previews, but I never really use them once I’m in-game. I tend to make the exception for kids’ rooms, though. 😉 Also, clashing patterns everywhere!
Glad I’m not the only one who forgets baby names! But at least I have ‘em on a spreadsheet, so I’m not having to open SimPE. 🙂
Aaaaaand this is just one more example of what an incredibly unorganized person I am. 😉 (Really, it’s not like I’d have to manually keep written records of this stuff, it would take a few seconds to document it on a spreadsheet, but alas… I am lazy. :D)

Ahhhhhhh thank you! I try! ❤ At least, that’s what I visualize the suburbs to be like, lmao. My boyfriend lives in a suburb so I take a lot of ideas from his neighborhood. The inspiration for the urban area comes from my neighborhood. ;D I guess I’m privy to the best of both? 😀

Heheheh, thank you! I actually have the shells saved in my test hood (the original clean, unoccupied lots). They’re mostly unfurnished but I think they all have landscaping. I’ve been thinking about uploading them. 🙂 I’m also hoping to get some more CC-free builds uploaded, too!
omg i did this last weekend…i accidentally compressed my entire EA games folder and it took 6 HOURS
OH GOD D: my program actually stopped working about halfway through mine so I don’t know if it actually compressed anything lmao, I want to try again but I think I’ll do it in sections next time!

Oh, believe me, my OCD was creeping up. ;D I wanted nothing more than to slap a matching solid orange comforter on that bed…but then I remembered how I was when I was a kid. When I was obsessed with something, I had to have everything revolve around it! (For me, it was horses – horse blanket, horse books, horse toys, horse posters… :D) I figured Graham wouldn’t mind if it meant having more dinosaurs in his room. 😉
