I thought about doing that trait thing, even tried it a bit, but it was just so hard to keep track of and actually do. Or maybe I was just doinā it wrong. But anyway! TS2 babies are cute, yes!
I figured Iād give it a try – Iāve been playing with my originalĀ āfoundersā for so long now that I feel like I have a good understanding of their personalities, but I tend to fall into the same patterns when playing Sims. So I thought Iād try a trait system to spice things up a bit for the born-in-game Sims. š Iām (loosely) keeping track of everything in a notepad file – I donāt think Iāll be tooĀ strict with it, but maybe one or two traits will stick out and Iāll try to focus on them when developing that simās personality/hobbies/etc. š I suppose weāll see how it goes!
She thinks heās hot making out with his woman, although she sekritly wishes that woman was her! *insert dramatic musics here!*

Rather than the MATY templates, I’d recommend using meetme2theriver’s clean templates here, as they contain fixes for Maxis Sims: http://meetme2theriver.livejournal.com/63030.html
Based on the anonās original ask, it seemed as if they might have wanted to use the original Maxis uni subhoods but move in their own custom dormies (instead of building an entire subhood from scratch). Meetmeās templates are cleaned and fixed, but they still contain the townies and dormies. Iāve not seen/used clean templates withoutĀ townies/dormies myself, but according to this post itās something that does (did?) exist at one point. The post is very old and a lot of the links are broken, so I was just trying to track down a current link that anon might find useful.
As for clean Maxis templates with all playables and townies intact, though, youāre absolutely right – meetmeās are the best. I use them myself for my (very neglected) uberhood. š
Is the centerpiece on the table a maxis item? It looks so purty.

Awww, thank you. ā¤ :āD I mean, I guess itās not terribleĀ – I think my dislike stems from a combination of it taking me so longĀ to achieve those fairly generic poses, and some general frustration at trying to do it on a community lot where unfortunately a lot of poseboxes wouldnāt work D: (even after teleporting Sims there and making them selectable and all).Ā
I would have liked to use the Smile for the Camera posebox to get them all looking straight ahead, but as you can see that didnāt work. š

My bff & I are hanging out this weekend & will be seeing it. I used to read comics as a kid bc my daddy kept boxes of them under his bed and I’d spend hours there. I read DC, Marvel, Disney whatever he had haha! I haven’t read a regular comic in yrs!

Iād be lying if I said I didnāt consider it XD then I decided I was too burnt out from ivying the restaurant. But what do I do instead? Lay single-tile pipes piece-by-piece on OMSPs so I can raise them to run along the ceiling. XD I canāt ever make something easy!

Looks awesome! Maybe go for an open floor plan for the 1st floor, then do some loft-type spaces on the 2nd/3rd levels that overlook the ground floor, if that makes sense. Just an idea š
This is basically what my plan is – open first floor, small loft on the second floor, third floor is completely open to give the feeling of high ceilings. š Iām fairly happy with the layout of the building, now itās just a matter of decorating it. This is WAY outside my comfort zone. D:

You could just do the bottom and have the top two floors to let or something? If you’re overwhelmed by all the space, that is.
I actually thought about doing combination community lot/loft apartment, but then I decided I wanted to have an open floor plan and figured it would suck for whichever Sim lived upstairs to live over a bar/club. XD I liked the idea a lot though, so I will probably make another (smaller!!!) building in the same style to convert into a living space. š
