I blame my trip to California! I already have one unfinished university subhood, but the entire time I was on vacation I kept thinking about how I couldn’t wait to get home and make a desert subhood, too. 😛
I love birthday pie! I’m more of a pie person than a cake person, so I usually have apple pie on my birthday instead. 😀 It seems that my preferences are rubbing off on my Sims! ;D

I’ve always wanted to do a livestream! Maybe I will someday. 🙂 I’m just afraid I’ll be terribly boring. XD I’d also like to do one with a mic, but I’d need to get one first. ;P But it’s definitely a possibility in the future!
I don’t always go for livestreams but I’d totes tune in to yours! Imagine if you’d have done one with you had the quads – the sheer frustration of it, hahah!

I use the original by Squinge here! There are some variations of it (I think Chaavik made one that takes a shorter amount of time, and BoilingOil also made one with a few changes), but I wanted to play around with the original first. 🙂
Just wanted to say that Boiling Oil’s version really is better than the original. IIRC, the original allows fathers to breastfeed as well and they would do so autonomously…but maybe that got fixed at some point. I didn’t have the mod in for a long time because of that. (I wouldn’t be opposed to males who give birth to alien babies breastfeeding them because…Well, if the aliens can give them girl bits, then I don’t think they’d have much trouble making them lactate, especially since there are cases of men in the real world being able to do it. But otherwise? Um, not so much. 🙂 ) When I was complaining about this, I was pointed at Boiling Oil’s version and was much happier. Especially since it quelled the tendency for the mom to autonomously feed the kid all the time, too. So, if you’re liking the mod in general, you might want to look into Boiling Oil’s update. Just sayin’. 🙂
Good to know! Squinge actually has a female-only version (which is the one I have). It also may been updated since you last used it because I find that my Sim hardly does any autonomous feeding. Obviously her husband still takes the babies to the fridge for bottle-feeding, but she would autonomously do so, too. I guess you could say I’d like MORE autonomy, haha. Although I might play around with the shorter breastfeeding time variation, because in my experience (unless I cancel the action from the queue) the feeding goes on for ages. 😀
Is it in any way related to a certain hood? I heard once about unsavory charlatan (I think it was) that got corrupt somehow, so the game would crash every time it tried to load him.
Hmmm, I basically only play in a single hood, so I don’t know if the problem would necessarily replicate itself. I was in my test hood yesterday for a little while to test out a community lot and everything went fine, but then again, I wasn’t really there too long. The Charlatan spawned in the test hood without any problems. I can try fiddling around with the visitor controller to ban him from lots in Sycamore Cove to see if that helps.
Are you culling body shop content, like hair and clothes? Sometimes mine crashes when a sim that had old cc on tries to come onto the lot and has to regenerate CC.
Mostly build/buy content lately, but yes, I’m sure I’ve culled some body shop content as well. I guess it’s time to try townie makeovers before visiting a community lot again!
