Hahahah! I sang that song on Saturday at a Christmas party. My voice is horrible, so I just belt it out and hope for the best. ❤

LOL yes! We have good taste. XD I have a pretty awful voice, so it’s a wonder I even got up to sing in the first place…but awkward, horrible singing is what makes karaoke fun, isn’t it? 🙂

Thanks, twofee! ❤ It wasn’t really a conscious decision to avoid purple – I thought about it, but as I’m not much of a purple/pink fan myself, I tend to delete most of my CC in those colors. XD It really just all came together when I was searching for bedding and that particular pattern caught my eye. I wanted something elegant and feminine, but not too stuffy. 🙂 I’m glad you like it!

I’ve had trouble with sims using dining chairs that are placed off grid, but not stationary living room chairs or sofas. Worst case, you try it and they get upset and then you switch it back, right?

you can use snapobjects off for the sofa. They still sit in them with no problems. I don’t use the quarter tile cheat for that very reason. =)

My sims use furniture off grid, both with quarter tile and snap objects. 🙂

Good to know! Yeah, I’ve had problems with dining chairs that were placed off-grid, so I assumed it was the same for all seating. I’ve had Sims use the wedding arch placed off-grid, so I figured it’d work for some things and not for others. I guess it’s just a matter of trial and error! (There’s just nothing more frustrating than having everything evenly spaced out and Sims can’t use the items, though. :P)

Can you use the quarter tile placement cheat and bump the sofas out just a little bit so the curtains don’t clip?

I coouuulddd, it’s just that I’m trying to keep the whole thing playable and sometimes Sims throw a fit when an object is placed on a quarter-tile and they won’t use it. D: I believe this happens with chairs and sofas – correct me if I’m wrong?

I’m an awful encourager because a community garden sounds like the CUTEST IDEA!!! But gosh I also feel you on the apartments. I made an attempt yesterday and had to exit to try this another day D:

I had so many false starts last night – and that was after I spent a good chunk of time googling floor plans! I finally made one I’m pretty happy with – we’ll see how it works once I move some Sims in. 😛 And I’ve been dying to give this tutorial by amovitamsim a try – maybe after I’ve been playing a bit that can be my new project. 😛
