Ahhh thank you! I’ve been on a rustic kick lately (something about the fall makes me want to make everything look rustic and cozy!). Sometimes I wish I went the rustic look with my own apartment, but then I remember I like mid-century modern, too. 😛

EA removed securom from The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, there’s a post about it on SimsVIP.

Yep, I mentioned it in my post! I didn’t run the update myself since I’ve already removed SecuROM and run the game without going through Origin, but I made a point of mentioning that although the update removes SecuROM, some people were forced to do complete reinstalls or reset their graphics rules because Origin automatically ran the update before people could make proper backups. Again, not too familiar with what happened since I didn’t perform the Origin update myself, just mentioning what I saw some people on my dash talking about. 🙂

That’s funny because i use way too much purple and avoid orange like the plaque.

Haha, orange is quite a polarizing color! Maybe I’m more drawn to it because I’m in an autumn sort of mood. 😛 I’m not a fan of pastel colors in general, which is why I usually stay away from pinks/purples/lavender/periwinkle/etc., but I like deep purple shades, like plum. 🙂

Oh, I loaded up my game (with all my CC installed – I checked!), and I was playing around with my new hood deco, clicked on a random community lot to see how everything looked from lot view – and I see this. Even though my entire DL folder is present (I was playing around with hood deco, AND I had rolled the pacifier in CAS like I always do, and all my bodyshop content was there). But nothing in the build/buy catalogue showed up. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 I’m reloading now….

I had to empty out an apartment building I liked cause it got glitchy it was a small building with no elevator, just stairs, but then they couldn’t use the stairs!! Whenever I played Sims on the upper floor I’d have to use cheats to move them up and down the stairs, including dogs going to do their business -_-

UGH it makes me so sad that apartments in TS2 are so glitchy because I really love the concept (especially since I live in one myself!). I love the social aspect of it and how perfect it is for single Sims and couples – but then stuff like this happens and before you know it EVERYONE GETS A HOUSE because I’m fed up. 😐

I LOVE it!!!! that little patio deck!!!! It’s the perfect place to have friends over for drinks and so quaint aaaaaaahhhhh. I’m in love! I can’t blame you for loving it so much too.

I based it off of a floor plan I found and it had that cute little dining patio, and I thought it’d be the perfect opportunity to use those awning pieces I’ve had floating around in my DL folder forever. ❤ My Sims seem to like it, too – the NEVER eat in their gorgeous dining room, nooooo. Always outside, no matter what the weather. 😛

That always happens. All you have to do is turn on moveobjects and delete them, then they won’t reappear. You have to do it when you’re playing each playable household in the building. Pain in the ass, but at least it’s fixable. 🙂

Aha! Good to know. 🙂 I was afraid my neighborhood was becoming corrupted or one of my apartment mods was causing this nonsense. I feel much calmer and more prepared for the next time I decide to play an apartment building. 😉

Yes! Kraftwerk is amazing! I saw them in D.C. during their Kraftwerk 3D tour last year and it was so much fun. I wasn’t sure what to expect (also I don’t really care for most things in 3D) but it was a super cool audio/visual experience. 🙂 I hope they do another show soon (and preferably a little closer to home – I love traveling to new cities, but I can’t always go a couple hundred miles out of the way for a show :)).

Haha! I have so many downloaded because I love the patterns or because they look so pretty in previews, but I never really use them once I’m in-game. I tend to make the exception for kids’ rooms, though. 😉 Also, clashing patterns everywhere!

do you have the noautopetbuy hack? It stops neighbours from adopting pets while unplayable

I don’t think I do? I didn’t even know unplayable Sims could adopt pets! Maybe I should look into that hack just in case. 😛

LMAO! I didn’t even think about the context. I’m so accustomed to just posting on a Sims blog where everyone already knows what I’m talking about. XD

Well, it looks like a new landlord did spawn. He only showed up for a few hours in the morning and then disappeared, though (unlike the previous one who hung around outside all day). He may become a more “permanent” fixture on the lot when I reload it again with a different household.

I really can’t believe it happened, though! My Sim was asleep and the game was on 3x speed, then all of a sudden I saw the beam of light that comes to take the body up to space or whatever and I was like WHO DIED??!? I didn’t know the landlords could spontaneously die on the lot. D:

Haha, I would be the same way, @twofee! But I can’t help it, I think the belly animations in-game are so cute. Keffria doesn’t agree with me, though. 😛 And it does look like she’s giving a high five! That might’ve gone over a little better. XD
