Yes, I’m an adventurous couch potato. I’m an enigma. 😛 (What can I say, I love exploring and hiking and visiting new places and trying new foods, but at the end of the day I want to be curled up with a book or Netflix. Or TS2. :3)

13. What’s your favourite aspect of the game? (CAS, Build etc.)
Well, I think my favorite aspect is actually playing. 🙂 I especially love making all my Sims have obscene amounts of kids because I like seeing how the genetics play out. 😀 However, it probably comes as no surprise to my longtime friends/followers that I love building and decorating – especially community lots. 😀 I guess the one aspect I’m never really in the mood for is CAS. My CAS urges are few and far between (which is aggravating, because sometimes I really want to play around with new CC but I just lack the inspiration for creating unique Sims D:). 

19. Post your favourite screenshot.
ACK! Giving me the hardest one. XD Well, I decided not to choose from screenshots that showcase builds/interiors, because I don’t think I’d be able to choose. XD I’m going to post one scenery screenshot and one storytelling screenshot. 😀

I picked the screenshot with the Bushby kids because I just love what it represents – the epitome of lazy summer days. 😀 I have a summer vacation mod installed, so during their time off the kids spent every single day down by the beach. They all autonomously hung out together like this at one point and I just thought it was the cutest thing. 🙂 (Can you also tell why they’re my favorite family? XD)

1. Tell me the story of how you started playing.
I started with TS1 waaaaaay back in – I don’t know, 2001 or 2002? A long time ago. D: I was staying with family down in Virginia and one of my cousins had it and was trying to teach me how to play. I remember building a massive box house and making the Weasley family. 😛 I got the game for myself shortly after. I don’t remember the exact moment I discovered custom content, but as we all know, life was never the same after that! XD I remember Party Sims being one of the first CC sites I ever found. Somewhere during 2003-2004 was when my Lord of the Rings obsession was at its peak, and I had all of Debsy’s and Tig’s LotR skins and lots and everything, gahhhhh the nostalgia. *_* (I still have urges to revisit my TS1/LotR days!)

My best friend in high school got TS2 when it came out, and we used to take turns playing it at her house on her uncle’s tricked-out Alienware computer. 😛 I wanted it so badly but my ancient PC with Windows ME (YES, ME) couldn’t handle it. (I still continued to obsessively play TS1 during this time!) I finally got a new computer in 2006, got TS2, and the rest is history! 

12. Biggest achievement in the game?
I never play challenges so I’ve never reached any “end goal”, per se. I guess my biggest achievement is Sycamore Cove itself? Just in terms of how many families I have, and how many lots I’ve built (especially since I never used to be a lot builder – imagine that?!). OH! Maybe my biggest achievement is playing two sets of families with quadruplets without having any of them taken away by the social worker. XD

Ohhhhh boy, I have one from before I went Maxis-match. I don’t think it looks much like me (anymore, at least XD).

23. Post a pic of your favourite born in game sim.
That would have to be either Tabitha or Jane!

Both were born to couples in my previous neighborhood, Broad Hollow. They never made it past childhood, but before I abandoned the hood I aged up all the kids to see what they’d look like as adults. Tabitha and Jane were my favorites, so I decided to give them a second chance at life in Sycamore Cove. Jane hasn’t been added to the hood yet – I think I’ll add her during the second generation. ;D

10. Do you play with challenges? If so, which is your favourite?
I have not really played any challenges (crazy, right?). My current neighborhood is almost a BaCC (in the sense that I started with several Sims and have been playing in rounds), but I don’t follow a rule set or any kind of guidelines for “unlocking” things. Because my playing style is already so similar to a BaCC, though (and because they’re my favorite challenges to read by other people!), I’d like to try a proper one in the future. 😀

I’ve also been wanting to try a legacy challenge again – I tried it once and barely made it to the second generation. D: I’m bad at juggling multiple neighborhoods at once, though, so it probably won’t happen anytime soon!

22. Post a pic of your favourite sims family.
Awww, this is hard! It’s a bit of a toss-up between the Bushbys and the Blake-Dunne household, but ultimately I chose…

…the Bushbys. 😀 Maybe it’s something about the families having more kids (and generally being more stressful to play) that also makes me more attached to them for some reason?? At any rate, I really look forward to the Bushby rounds. 😀 I love how close the kids all are with each other, and Nate and Tabitha are a model couple. You’d never believe they were only one-bolters – I think they’re the most obsessed with each other out of all the couples in my game. They’re just the cutest. :3

27. If you were a sim, what would be your skills? pleaseandthankyou!

Oh man LOL. In all seriousness, I definitely have zero skills. 😀 Ummmm, I suppose if I had to pick the ones that are most applicable to me, I’d say maybe I have a couple of Body points? I’m no fitness buff by any means, but I’m in pretty good shape?? Maybe a Charisma point or two, because I consider myself to be a bit of an extrovert. And maybe Cleaning as well (especially at work – I’m fanatical about cleanliness and organization at work. My own desk and bedroom at home are a mess, though D:). Oooh, and maybe a couple Logic points because I like problem-solving and science and stuff.

I can say with absolute certainty that I have ZERO Cooking and Mechanical points. 😀 

Thank you, dirk-dreamer and twofee! ❤ Normally, I have no problem talking about myself (I swear I’m not conceited, I just like to talk!), but today I could only come up with six facts instead of twelve. However, they’re six embellished facts. XD

  1. I love New York City and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I love being able to walk places as opposed to driving (good thing, because I don’t have my license!). I love that there’s always something to do, although I don’t always take advantage of this fact. It’s something I’m trying to work on – whether it’s visiting a new cafe or bar or park or restaurant, I’m trying to challenge myself to get out more (even if I go alone).
  2. Although I love my city, I also love traveling. I can’t get enough of it and there are so many places I want to visit. I wish I had more time to travel, or a job that gave me opportunities to travel. And although I’ve already been there, I would give anything to go back to Ireland again. ❤
  3. I’m a bit of a beer fiend – and I mean this in the least alcoholic-sounding way possible. XD I just love the way it tastes and I love trying new kinds. IPAs, stouts, porters… you name it, I’ll give it a try! (Side note: I hate the feeling of being drunk. Luckily, my alcohol tolerance is high enough that I can go out and try a few different beers and not feel affected by it. :P)
  4. Lord of the Rings is something that will always be near and dear to my heart – my obsession peaked around my freshman year of high school, when I wore Legolas-style braids in my hair every day. (Side note: I didn’t have many friends.)
  5. I love summer and long days and hot weather and thunderstorms (which we didn’t get nearly enough of this year), and I’m really sad that it’s ending soon. 😦 BUUUUT I’m also really excited for fall, and crisp leaves and delicious pumpkin-flavored everything and cozy sweaters. 😀
  6. I feel blessed each and every day to have an amazing boyfriend who knows all my little quirks and random interests and the fact that I’m Sims-obsessed and still loves me, even after five and a half years. 😀
