I think it might’ve happened in my game once before (I’m far too much of a sucker for nice Sims. XD) But Audrey isn’t even that mean! Alexander just wanted to start something. 😛

Honestly, though, when I start the next gen, I’m going to age up/kill off a lot of the game-generated townies and replace them with Sims made by other people. I can’t wait to put yours in my hood! I hope one of my Sims will find ~true love~ with yours and then I’ll move them into a nice fancy home together!

Thank you both! I’m very fond of it too. (I actually saw one IRL shortly after I made it that looked just like it, even though I copied it from a floorplan online!) Now, if only some of my families could afford to live there. XD

Thank you! I was trying to capture the warmth and familiarity of a family-owned restaurant. I hope at least some of that translated into the finished product!

Just WOW! I love your use of color.

Thank you!!! ❤ I was trying to go for warm, Mediterranean-y colors – and of course, a little brightening and selective coloring in Photoshop goes a long way. 😉

Many hours spent staring at a blank lot and trying to figure out what to put there. XD Also, I almost borked my neighborhood trying to make this lot because I tried to modify the neighborhood terrain and the WHOLE PENINSULA was destroyed. Thank goodness someone reminded me about Hood Replace! (Note to self: don’t mess around with the modify terrain cheat; you don’t know what you’re doing)

I’m an awful encourager because a community garden sounds like the CUTEST IDEA!!! But gosh I also feel you on the apartments. I made an attempt yesterday and had to exit to try this another day D:

I had so many false starts last night – and that was after I spent a good chunk of time googling floor plans! I finally made one I’m pretty happy with – we’ll see how it works once I move some Sims in. 😛 And I’ve been dying to give this tutorial by amovitamsim a try – maybe after I’ve been playing a bit that can be my new project. 😛

No rain?! Are you sure you were actually in the UK…?

I’m not sure anymore! XD Really though, we had fantastic weather in Ireland – a bit chilly the first day in Dublin, but plentiful sunshine. I definitely did not pack appropriately. 😛 When we were in England, our bus got caught in a thunderstorm on the way back from Stonehenge, but other than that, nothing. The forecast for our last day said 60% chance of rain all day, and we had hardly a cloud in the sky. I feel like I didn’t have a true Irish/British experience. XD

Thank you! The beams are just incredibly obtrusive. D: I was originally only going to place a few of them, but then I liked the way they looked so I added some more, then I got carried away. I stupidly placed the beams before I did the interior decorating, and instead of deleting and laying down the beams all over again afterwards, I decided to decorate from “inside” (zoomed all the way in, rather than utilizing the overhead view because the beams completely block it). Super annoying. :
