LOL this is very true. It’s actually the only thing that was large enough to break up all the empty space. I could’ve sworn I had some nice 5×5 Persian-looking rugs at some point, but they must be in an older downloads folder. A Google search didn’t turn up anything else that would’ve fit the room, but I guess it worked out because I got to use that huge floor piece. 😀

Thank you! I’m the same way, unfortunately. This whole building endeavor has been WAY out of my comfort zone. I’m actually very happy with how it’s turning out, but progress has been extremely slow-going.

Thank you! ❤ I’m not sure what actually made me put two of them next to each other, actually. The original incarnation of this building only had only the one door (centered on four-tiles <3), but when I rebuilt from scratch I don’t think it was working out for some reason, heh. Fortunately, it gave me a chance to use these doors for the first time!
Regarding Surrey Hall student lounge/rec room:
Ah the Phoenix sofa. Its held up well for such an old piece of CC.
Right? HolySimoly CC is always some of the first content I put back into my game after a reinstall, yet it always tends to get lost in the shuffle. I guess this is me challenging myself to actually use the different pieces of CC I have.

Ugh. The Bah House windows. I just got them into my game, and I can’t do ANYTHING with them. They look nice here though.
Really? I feel like I tend to overuse them! I think it’s because they’re very simple and so symmetrical (all the squares and whatnot) – it works for me because I tend to build mostly boxes. 😛 I love that the one window (the one in the first picture) fits seamlessly when placed next to another.
