So it’s not gamebreaking bad. But still! They need to keep it in their pants! I have no problems with my Sims going out and ~getting some~, but it always kills me a little inside when they have a SO in the picture and insist on doing it anyway! 😛

ahahahah SAME THO. And the whole time I’m just smh that this is the Maxis definition of “fat.” 😐 I don’t like a lot of things about TS3 and TS4, but more diverse body shapes was definitely a plus.

I got the debug super duper hug bug from one of your lots, do you know how I can remove it?

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that. 😦 This is the first I’m being told that one of my lots carries it. (Can anyone else please confirm this?) I will remove links to my lot downloads until further notice.

As far as I know, nothing will get rid of it, but a mod like BoilingOil’s No Sim Loaded will suppress it. You won’t need to do anything special when you load your game, it works automatically when you open a lot and continues to work in the background to get rid of the bug and other garbage tokens.

Again, I’m very sorry this happened. If I’d had prior knowledge of it being present in my game, I wouldn’t have put my lots up for download.

TBH, I think eventually everyone who A) Downloads lots and/or B) Has mods which they then screw around with and remove and re-install and whatnot will get the Super Hug thing. It’s just going to happen, inevitably. I might have it, but I wouldn’t know because I’ve had No Sim Loaded that Fi linked to installed for…Well, as long as the mod has existed, pretty much. BUT! I don’t think this should discourage anyone from downloading or sharing lots. Simply get BoilingOil’s mod and all is well. You never have to worry about the issue again. It’s a mod that everyone ought to have, really. Same as the anti-corruption ones, if you’re a person who plays neighborhoods long-term.

…That said, anyone who knows for certain that they have the Super Hug and who shares lots ought to let people know about this. In fact, probably everyone who shares lots, period, should let others know about this, since lot sharing is how the bug propagates between users. So, consider this MY notice, as a person who shares lots. 🙂

This is true – I don’t download many lots these days, but I do play around with my mods all the time. If I have the SDHB in my game, I haven’t noticed it because of BO’s mod.

I don’t have experience with this issue (it never actually occurred in my game), so I don’t know to what degree it bothers people. Like you said, iCad, you wouldn’t even know if you had it because BO’s mod keeps it suppressed. But I guess it can be an issue for some people? Maybe I’ll consider putting the download links up but with a disclaimer about the bug, so people can make their own decision whether or not they’d feel comfortable downloading. I feel guilty for being a “carrier” and not knowing, though. :X

I’ve seen that happen before. I don’t think it’s serious. For some reason, the game is just calling multiple iterations of the same Sim. Do a move out/move back in and see if it fixes it.

I hope that’s all it is. D: I’m reloading now (even though this should be my sign to go to bed for tonight…), so I’ll do a quick move out/move in and see if the problem persists.

Aw, I love the dinosaur theme. 🙂 I wish I wasn’t so skittish about putting patterns together when decorating. It’s not like I have that problem in real life, and all. *sigh*

Oh, believe me, my OCD was creeping up. ;D I wanted nothing more than to slap a matching solid orange comforter on that bed…but then I remembered how I was when I was a kid. When I was obsessed with something, I had to have everything revolve around it! (For me, it was horses – horse blanket, horse books, horse toys, horse posters… :D) I figured Graham wouldn’t mind if it meant having more dinosaurs in his room. 😉

Thank you!! 😀 The show was so much fun! My boyfriend and I were some of the youngest people there (barring a few youngins who were there with parents/other older family members). Several people made comments to us about how awesome it was to see younger fans of the genre. Dion himself did a lot of talking between songs about things he remembers from his earlier days and people he used to know, like Bobby Darin – it was awesome to be transported back to another time through his vignettes and (of course) his music. 😀 I feel fortunate to have had the chance to see him! ~~It also goes without saying that I teared up several times out of sheer joy that this dream became a reality for me. Also because I am a humongous sap.~~

I thought about doing that trait thing, even tried it a bit, but it was just so hard to keep track of and actually do. Or maybe I was just doin’ it wrong. But anyway! TS2 babies are cute, yes!

I figured I’d give it a try – I’ve been playing with my original “founders” for so long now that I feel like I have a good understanding of their personalities, but I tend to fall into the same patterns when playing Sims. So I thought I’d try a trait system to spice things up a bit for the born-in-game Sims. 🙂 I’m (loosely) keeping track of everything in a notepad file – I don’t think I’ll be too strict with it, but maybe one or two traits will stick out and I’ll try to focus on them when developing that sim’s personality/hobbies/etc. 🙂 I suppose we’ll see how it goes!

Awww, thank you. ❤ :’D I mean, I guess it’s not terrible – I think my dislike stems from a combination of it taking me so long to achieve those fairly generic poses, and some general frustration at trying to do it on a community lot where unfortunately a lot of poseboxes wouldn’t work D: (even after teleporting Sims there and making them selectable and all).

I would have liked to use the Smile for the Camera posebox to get them all looking straight ahead, but as you can see that didn’t work. 😛

Wow, really? I’ve never had a recolor crash the game. Are you sure you clicked “Recolor” in the Object Workshop and not “Clone?” And also did you use “Build DXT” to import the new texture?

Yup. 😦 It didn’t crash the game per se, but it did freeze it. -_- My other recolors were working just fine! I deleted the previous files and just remade them in SimPE, now waiting on my game to load to test them….
