David stopped over to welcome Nysha. Of course, he’d heard the rumors about the new girl in town – where was she from, again? – but he was merely trying to be a good neighbor. He does have a reputation for being the town’s resident nice guy, after all. Or was he just telling himself that to justify his curiosity?

He was somewhat surprised to see she had a cat, then mentally scolded himself. What, aliens can’t have pets? He played with Sake for awhile to draw his gaze away from Nysha, afraid that he was making her feel uncomfortable.

Nysha, however, was slightly miffed at her neighbor’s aloofness. She’d heard the whispers and felt the stares when she first moved into the neighborhood, aware that she was the new novelty in this otherwise uneventful town. Yet no one had come to visit her until today. And here he was, playing with her cat instead.

In spite of herself, Nysha found herself smiling at how well he got along with Sake. “I’d offer you something to eat, but I’m afraid I don’t have much,” she said. “I still haven’t unpacked most of my cookware, so I didn’t see the sense in shopping for groceries yet." Also, I have no idea what you humans eat.

"No worries,” David replied. “We can just see if anything good is on TV.”

Proof I’ve been playing my game!

Well, not exactly playing. When I reinstalled the game onto my new SSD, I decided to start fresh with everything – CC, ‘hoods, etc. I kept the same Sims from Broad Hollow, but I’ve been working on Broad Hollow v. 2.0. 🙂

Here’s David in front of his (empty) cabin. I hope he’s happy with the exterior, because it’s left him with no money for furnishings…
