Hey! I actually just used screenshots I took in-game to make recolors of Threadandsandpaper’s photo mesh. I made them before I saw @poppet-sims‘s tutorial, but she does a better job of explaining the recolor process than I ever could so I’m just going to direct you over there! 🙂

Your school is amazing <3 I tried to build one once and failed epically, could you please share it? Also what are Inge’s hacks?
Hello, my friend! Thank you for the compliment! ❤ I made a post about sharing the lot here – I don’t know if I’ll upload it as-is or a lower-cc version, but I will definitely try to share it in the near future!
Inge at Simlogical made some neat hacked objects to enable you to run a school off a residential lot. I haven’t used them myself yet, but I’m a big fan of @deedee-sims‘s BaCC, and ever since I saw her post using the school hacks I’ve been dying to try them myself! It just looks like such a cute idea. 😀 I’m hoping it will add a new dimension of gameplay for my sim kids and teens!
Fi!! (if I may call you that) Thank you, really thank you! Especially for answering so quickly. Though I didn’t realise how untactful I was… I didn’t say even say please! hehe… sorry about it all.
Aw, it’s really no problem at all!! 😀
Hi Simper-fi, now I don’t want to be someone to bother you with a wcif… But I’ve searched high and low for that green exit sign in your recent post and I just can’t find it :( post/132713414794/high-school-classroom
No worries, my friend! This is actually one of the easiest WCIFs I’ve had in awhile because it’s a recent addition to my DL folder. ;D

It’s a 4t2 conversion by TSLD HERE!
Hi ^^ I’m sorry if this was asked before but i would like to know what program you use to take your pictures :-)
Hi there! I use Fraps to take screencaps and then I run them through Photoshop to brighten/sharpen/etc. 😀
Wcif the blue wall paper in your recent picture? and do you know any other good place to get wallpaper?
Do you mean the wallpaper in this post? If so, I answered that here. (If possible, try to link to the post in question! I usually have my posts running on a queue, so I don’t always check tumblr until hours after they’ve posted and I no longer know which one was “recent.” ^^;)
As for wallpapers, that’s a pretty vague question. ^^; Some of my favorite creators for walls are @shastakiss, @poppet-sims, @vimpse, @smart-spell, @jedpie, CuriousB, Malle, Donnha, Lina, and Ohbehave. 🙂
wow you have such great style decorating! would you be willing to upload the ballet studio? it’s lovely :)
Sure! The lot is small enough that I should be able to do that today with no problem. 🙂 And thank you for the nice comments! ❤
where can i buy the sims 2 + the ultimate collection?
Hello! I’m pretty sure the only way you can buy TS2 discs these days is by getting them used on Amazon or Ebay or something. EA no longer offers it.
As for the Ultimate Collection, it was a free giveaway last summer, but I’ve had some people tell me that if you speak with someone from EA, they may still give it to you.
any tips on how to make the sims 2 interesting? <3
Hi hi! ❤
Well, for me, cc makes it infinitely more interesting. 😛 I like being able to go on download sprees and find new cc that inspires me in my building, decorating, Sim-making, etc. (It’s a shopping spree I don’t have to pay for!)
As for the gameplay itself, everyone has a different idea of what they find interesting. 🙂 Some people really love legacy challenges – I’ve attempted one in the past, but I didn’t make it past the first generation. I’d like to give it another try in the future, though. I think it’d be cool to see how Sims’ genetics pass on through the generations. 🙂
My current play style resembles a BaCC, but is not nearly as strict. (I don’t follow any rules or anything.) If I could start a new neighborhood, I’d like to play following an actual BaCC ruleset (à la @deedee-sims or @taylors-simblr :D). This kind of challenge/gameplay really appeals to me because I like being able to build a neighborhood from scratch and play with multiple families, rotation-style.
There are plenty of other challenges too, like the asylum challenge, poverty challenge, midnight sun challenge, etc. I’ve never tried any of those and I’m not too familiar with the rules, but if you google “sims 2 challenges” I’m sure you’ll get a bunch of results. 🙂
Or, if you’ve never played with the premades before, give that a try! Indulge their fears, stray from their Maxis “storyline,” try something different to shake things up a bit. 🙂 Create an uberhood so premades from different neighborhoods can interact with each other!
Oh, and regardless of challenges or neighborhoods you play, I would definitely recommend installing ACR. I don’t know how I played without it – it’s always stirring up new and exciting drama in my game. 😉
I hope this helps! 🙂
Hey Christine. I’m trying to download your skin set up, but it’s not letting me, I think your box is used up? Is there anyway you could upload it somewhere else? Also I see it says I’d need to download the four defaults if I want to use it. I use another default, so which skin tones would I need? Thank you in advance!
Whoops! I’ve uploaded it to SFS here. Sorry about that! ^^;
Ideally, you would need to switch out your default for the same one I’m using. That’s because I arranged my skintones on a spectrum, so if your default skin tones are slightly lighter or slightly darker than my defaults, the geneticized skintone of any offspring might not be correct. (I’m really poor at explaining this. :<)
Basically, if my S1 and S4 Sims have a baby, I have it set up so that their offspring can have any of the skintones in between S1 and S4 on the spectrum. (Look at Nate and Tabitha’s quadruplets – they all have different skin tones!) Now, if your S4 skintone is lighter than mine, for example, it’s possible that your Sims will have babies with a skintone darker than their own, because of the way I’ve arranged my genetic spectrum.
I hope this makes a little bit of sense. You’re more than welcome to check your defaults against the ones I’m using to see if they’re close enough (if you really don’t want to swap them out.)
Or, and this takes a little more work but it’s not difficult, just a bit time-consuming, you can look at the notepad file I included with my own values, and you can tweak whichever ones you need to in SimPE to fit with your own defaults. I used this tutorial to geneticize the skintones I had in my game. It’s very easy to follow – the hardest part was deciding where to put each skintone on the spectrum (because some of them are very similar to others)! The SimPE part is easy. 🙂
S1, S2, S3, and S4 (the defaults) are given specific values – 0.1, 0.3, 0.6, and 0.9, respectively. All your skintones lighter than S1 should have values less than 0.1, your skintones between S1 and S2 should be greater than 0.1 but less than 0.3, etc. So feel free to look at your defaults, and look at the skins included in my genetic setup, and if you need to move any of them up or down on the spectrum, go for it. 🙂
Apologies if this was way more information than you wanted, or if you already know everything I’m telling you. ^^; (You never know who’s on the other side of an anon ask, so I try to be thorough!) If you have any more questions, just ask.
TL;DR – My geneticized skin setup is meant to be used with these defaults – if you don’t want to switch your defaults, you either run the risk of having genetically incorrect offspring (not game-breaking, but a little unrealistic – if this doesn’t bother you, then go right ahead!), or you will have to rearrange the setup yourself in SimPE to accommodate your particular defaults.
