Hi Fi :) maybe its my silly request, but I love love love everything about your sims, your hood, EVERYTHING!!! My request is… Can you creates a neighborhood with some decoration (neighborhood deco)? I tried to make it with some terrain, but I give up :( Still, if you can’t fulfill my request, its no problem to me :) Thanks for reading my message :D

I’m going to be the first person to admit that neighborhood decorating is not my cup of tea – I find it time-consuming and frustrating, and I greatly admire Simmers who painstakingly place trees and buildings and other deco to make their neighborhoods look so lush, vibrant, and full of life! ❤ 

So your request isn’t silly by any means, but it’s just not something I can do. 😦 There are some great pre-decorated neighborhoods available to download, though! Sycamore Cove is actually a pre-decorated neighborhood by @voleste – you can grab it HERE! I added the skyscrapers and building deco myself, but it already comes with lovely trees throughout (which honestly is the most annoying part of hood decorating for me XD). Carnen and Mayhaven are two more examples of beautiful pre-decorated terrains.

Hi Christine! I’m a lurker in TS2 community, but I’m starting fresh on a new laptop and was thinking of joining with posting pictures and socializing more. What do you use to edit your photos? I know a lot of people use Photoshop, but I can’t afford it! Also do you use Fraps or something else? You’re my inspiration! <3

I use Photoshop (pssssst there are other ways to obtain it). However, if you’re looking for an alternative, I know a lot of Simmers also use GIMP. 🙂 I’m afraid that’s the extent of my editing software knowledge, so if anyone else has other suggestions for anon, please let me know! 

As for taking the screencaps themselves, I do use Fraps, but some Simmers prefer Gadwin Printscreen. 🙂

I’m not sure! I think it’s only happened in my game once or twice, honestly. I don’t know if there’s anything in particular that triggers it (like Sim personality points or skill levels) or if it’s completely random. But I agree, it’s quite entertaining when it happens! 🙂 

Where do you find most of your cc?

Anon! 😛 I’ve been playing this game for nearly ten years, and my current downloads folder is a WIP over 2-3 years – I get my cc from all over the place! 

I have a resource page (it’s an ongoing WIP, though). It covers my CAS content and mods pretty extensively. I’m afraid it’s lacking build/buy recommendations, but you’re welcome to go through my WCIF tag – even if you’re not looking for those specific items, clicking a link to go to a creator’s page can bring you to more cc, or more links, which lead to MORE cc, and that’s basically how I wind up downloading things for hours when I set out to look for a single object. XD 

I don’t have any sites that I regularly check for updates these days (aside from scrolling my tumblr dash). Trappingcrushes is still an excellent resource, even though it’s no longer updated. A lot of simmers these days also have “finds” sideblogs where they reblog cc posted here on tumblr. (I have one of those, but I’m very inconsistent about posting to it. ^^;) Garden of Shadows events (like Advent, Secret Santa, Christmas in July, etc.) are a goldmine for cc to satisfy just about every taste! And don’t forget TBTO, which is also hosted on GoS now. 🙂 

I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help, but I have so many GB of custom content I wouldn’t know where to begin. D: So, until I finally get around to updating my resource page, if there’s anything specific you see in any of my screenshots, you’re more than welcome to send a WCIF my way! 🙂
