Hi! The original post actually contains the solid colors – I believe they’re just Io’s original textures. I only defaulted them, I didn’t shoeswap or recolor them myself, so everything you need should be right there. 🙂

Hi there! First thing’s first, I use default replacement face templates, so new townies/NPCs that I generate will use those instead of the Maxis ones. Just an FYI – these will only affect new Sims you create! Any existing Sim faces will not be affected if you switch out your defaults. 

Second thing – you’ll want to make a clean custom neighborhood to prevent Maxis townies from spawning, leaving you free to populate it with your own custom Sims! I’ve done a quick little FAQ HERE about starting a custom neighborhood. It’s more of an outline than a tutorial, but it has links to actual tutorials to help you out. I just tried to explain/simplify the process itself. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask! I can’t promise I’ll answer in a timely manner, but I’ll try. 🙂

Hey! Just for clarification – by “clean” neighborhoods, do you mean completely empty ones (without premades, townies, etc.)? Those you can find in Pooklet’s thread HERE (”harvested empty neighborhood templates.zip”). That’s the one I downloaded and keep on my computer at all times, just in case. 😀

If you mean cleaned up versions of the Maxis neighborhoods (keeping the premades/hoods intact), I recommended meetmetotheriver’s templates HERE. Meetme also has a neat tutorial for disabling stealth hoods HERE.
