I hope you don’t mind me asking, but in post/110149183185/3 how did you get your camera so low to the ground for those shots? I use GunMod’s camera mod and it can’t get anywhere near that low.

Hey! Have you tried cameraman mode? To get low shots like that, I press the tab key to enter cameraman mode, then use the arrows on the keyboard to move the camera up or down. It lets you zoom in closer and get more precise angles for your screenshots. 🙂 

Have you tried deleting the bowling lanes and putting them down again?

Well, I went and tested a Maxis bowling alley from Downtown and it’s the same story there as well. I’ve never built a bowling alley before, so I was wondering if it was something I did wrong. Just poor lighting, unfortunately. 😦 

Overhead lighting doesn’t illuminate it at all. Floor lighting (such as the garden lamps) does, but then it casts weird shadows on the Sims. Can’t win. 😦 

Do you use some hacks/mods in your game?

I most certainly do! Here is a list that took me hours to compile but it’s good to have for reference of all the mods/hacks/fixes/overrides/etc. in my game at the moment (although in my search for the links I came across even more mods I need, so this is by no means all-inclusive):

I also use a name mod but I forget which one I have… 😡
