bed blanket mesh HERE, recolor by @pixelry HERE
pillow mesh HERE (slaved to maxis bedding, for what it’s worth the bedding I used is by @alienpod HERE although I’m not 100% sure if that’s the same one the pillows are using)
(omg someone asked me about this item aaaaages ago, like probably literal years ago, was it you?!?! I’m so sorry if you were waiting all this time omg)

Anyway, it’s by Tinkle and you can find it in their archive HERE (I’m prettyyyyy certain it’s the file titled “S2SummerbyTinkle”). Enjoy! And thank you so much for the kind words about my simblr even though my posting is sporadic at best and my wcif-answering is even worse <333
Hi there!

I’m assuming you mean the shiny trim and not the lights? If so, it’s an architectural detail from the M&G pack (although I’m 99% sure I used a recolor by @shastakiss HERE).
Hi there friend! Sorry for the long wait!

This beautiful sky from my now-defunct Strangetown (rip </3) is by @dramallamadingdang and can be found HERE. Enjoy!

enjoy the pumpkins now while we’re playing the Thompsons, because it’s Christmas at the Caron household next!

live look @ NYC in april
Ahhhhh awesome! I’m happy you were able to get the UC 🙂 and I’m happy you’ve been enjoying my story, even though it’s more random commentary than a story (and sometimes even less than that). 😀
I don’t have a set style of playing, the only thing I really follow when I play is that I play in “rounds” that follow the seasons (although the seasons in my neighborhood are all completely out of sync but ANYWAY). Five days to a season, so five days per household, then I move on to the next. 🙂 Other than that, no set way of doing things. If you’d like more structure in your gameplay, you can always try a BaCC. It’s pretty similar to how I play, except you follow a basic rule set (there are many different kinds out there, pick one that suits your gameplay style or just make up your own!) and you play to “unlock” certain careers, or community lots, or adding new townies/households based on the productivity and achievements of your founding sims. I’ve never officially played one, but it always seemed like a lot of fun and a bit more challenging and goal-oriented than regular gameplay. If I had more time to devote to TS2, I’d like to attempt it. 🙂
But yeah! To answer your question, I pretty much just started with a bunch of random sims at college, played with them a bit before introducing new sims, they eventually started pairing off and getting married or having kids, so now I have about seven?? households in the main hood (plus two university households) that I play through in rounds. 🙂
However, I am VERY slow at playing through rounds. Like, painfully slow. Lack of time, spending too much time on screenshots (trying to get better at just playing and not documenting so much), and organizing cc instead of playing. To put it in perspective, I am currently (as of April 2018) playing the Caron household. I last played that household in JANUARY 2017 lmao. It’s basically taking me over a year to get through the entire hood. (To be fair, 2017 was a bad year for me in terms of TS2 time, but the point remains.)
Now that I’ve completely derailed from the original question, I hope you have fun with TS2 again after all these years, no matter how you decide to play! And thank you again for your kind words ❤
