Missing Sycamore Cove. </3 I’d love to play today but I still have to reinstall clean empty templates after the Great Uberhood Debacle so I don’t get the bin families when I load up the hood again…blegh. Laziness is my biggest vice.

I still have a few screenshots left to share, so I’ll queue them up while I do some hair retextures/get myself ready to fix those templates.

Zynlos and Poe ❤

Some vanilla Veronaville pictures to ensure my uberhood is finally up & running again. I chose Veronaville because a) I’ve never really played it before, and b) I’ve never made over any lots there, so there are none there to cause me any pain or grief about being lost. 😀

Tybalt harassed Romeo for a good 3 to 4 hours, Romeo’s crying got increasingly more hysterical, and much smustling occurred in the bathroom. The last pic is dedicated to @yakumtsaki ❤️

Have you looked in SimPe, tried to see how things look there, relationships and all? It sure looks like hood corruption – how it could have happened I don’t know. I doubt it can be fixed, unfortunately.

Heh, I figured as much. :’) I’m not really sure what happened, since I’ve hardly ever touched my uberhood save for a few lot makeovers, but who knows why this game does the things it does? I did open it in SimPE, and even with my minimal knowledge I could tell something is definitely not right lmao. Reinstallation it is, then!

random shot-in-the-dark plea for help

Before I go through the arduous task of reinstalling my uberhood, does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?

All of the neighborhoods I have attached as shopping districts (which is all of them with the exception of Belladonna Cove, the main hood), have this problem where none of the Sims have relationship ties to anyone outside of their immediate lot. In addition, all of them have bottomed-out aspiration levels. I’ve checked with my DL folder taken out, I’ve tried three different backups (going all the way back to 2016), and the problem persists.

I checked my test hood and everything seems okay there. I was afraid to open Sycamore Cove to check but I believe that one would be fine, too, since the problem only seems to be affecting the shopping districts.

The only thing I’d need to save are some of my lot makeovers – I’ve never really played my Uberhood so it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to reinstall it. But if anyone has any insight that could help me avoid a reinstall (or help me prevent this from happening again!) I’d appreciate it.
