yakumtsaki:

another day, another wip finished after a geological epoch. this is the cafe au lait dress from ts3 store which @simper-fi wanted to convert, i was all like ‘man u cant start with a dress and a sleeveless one to boot, let me do it’ all chivalry and then promptly took 4 months to finish. honestly lack of sleeves: not even once. str8 up evil. but the dress is adorbs so! has fat+preg morph, i only did the original blue + 3 pastels but ive included a psd for recoloring. next up, evening of jazz and a bunch of creepy ass objects

❤ also lmao @ me deluding myself into thinking this was Okay to Attempt

Just wanted to say your Paddy Murphy’s pub with the christmas deco and everything is one of the most beautiful and cozy community lots I’ve ever seen! cant wait till you share it

Ah thank you so much! ❤ Cozy pubs at Christmas time are one of my favorite things ever, so the inspiration came naturally. 😉

FYI, that lot has already been shared, but it’s an older version without the second floor (which I’ve yet to reupload…). I keep saying I’ll get around to it eventually, be we all know how that turns out. D: I’d ideally like to reupload the new version and also make sure I include all the master meshes/Maxis recolors/etc that I didn’t package the first time… ah well, maybe someday~

Hey! I’m so sorry if you’ve already answered this somewhere, but I’ve been having a time and a half finding a program to take decent screenshots of my game, and wondered what you used? So far I’ve attempted FRAPS and Screenpresso, but neither ended up working (fraps ended up killing everything haha) Your game gives me life, and your sims are just precious, seriously, it’s made me breath new life into my ancient neighborhood, so thanks :)

AHH this message is so old, I’m so sorry ;___; but thank you so much for your lovely message! ❤

I’m afraid I’m not the best person to ask, though, because I use Fraps and it (usually) works just fine for me. D: I’ve heard of some people using Gadwin as an alternative though, it might be worth a look? I’m sorry again! Hopefully you were able to figure something out in the eternity it took me to answer your question~ ❤

EDIT: We have a suggestion for Bandicam! Thanks @rowenalupin 😀

How do you replace maxis face sims with custom face templates in your neighborhood? I really want to start a legacy but I’m tired of seeing maxis sims. I’ve tried everything. Can you explain how you did?

Hi there! First thing’s first, I use default replacement face templates, so new townies/NPCs that I generate will use those instead of the Maxis ones. Just an FYI – these will only affect new Sims you create! Any existing Sim faces will not be affected if you switch out your defaults.

Second thing – you’ll want to make a clean custom neighborhood to prevent Maxis townies from spawning, leaving you free to populate it with your own custom Sims! I’ve done a quick little FAQ HERE about starting a custom neighborhood. It’s more of an outline than a tutorial, but it has links to actual tutorials to help you out. I just tried to explain/simplify the process itself. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask! I can’t promise I’ll answer in a timely manner, but I’ll try. 🙂

Hi there, sorry to bother you but I really need clean neighborhood templates (free of ea townies and getting rid of the ‘stealth hoods’) but from simgaroop’s tutorial all the links to the clean templates are broken and deleted. I don’t know where else where I can find clean neighborhoods the disable the stealth hoods, so if you could link me somewhere or do anything else that would be great help!

Hey! Just for clarification – by “clean” neighborhoods, do you mean completely empty ones (without premades, townies, etc.)? Those you can find in Pooklet’s thread HERE (”harvested empty neighborhood templates.zip”). That’s the one I downloaded and keep on my computer at all times, just in case. 😀

If you mean cleaned up versions of the Maxis neighborhoods (keeping the premades/hoods intact), I recommended meetmetotheriver’s templates HERE. Meetme also has a neat tutorial for disabling stealth hoods HERE
