Hi! It’s a bit of a long one, but do you mind me asking WCIF some of the things in your very cheery bedroom post please? I’m looking for the lamps, curtains, bed, bedside tables, the wardrobe thing(?) and the little chair, please! Sorry to be a pain :)

You’re lucky about the curtains, anon – they’re by HolySimoly HERE and I have a crapton of recolors. Luckily, the ones you’re looking for are right there on the HolySimoly site. 😀 Might I also recommend these add-on meshes? 

The dresser is a recolor of the Maxis BV dresser that you can find HERE.
The chair is a recolor of evanesco’s Murano Cluit conversion. Unfortunately, this is one of those sets that I have a ton of recolors for and I don’t know exactly which one is pictured, but Linacherie has some HERE and HERE.

Feeding my desire to play Sims 2 that cannot be fulfilled atm by looking through your sycamore cove tag (I must sound like a creep by saying that xD). But your game is truly beautiful ;___;

Ahhhh no you’re not a creep at all, silly! ❤️ This makes me so happy fweeeeee especially because I feel the same way about your game! Maple Leaf University is everything I want Windham to be. *__* And I’m forever in love with the reception hall so please don’t be surprised if you find that a heavily inspired version makes its way into my game. 😀

I wonder why did maxis create Huge Bill? I didn’t think much of it for the past 9 years of playing the game but now I find it kind of funny. I’m not american so I’m not familiar with the idea of a giant lumberjack statue as a way to attract passers-by.

Hahaha, this is a good question! I’ve never given him much thought before. 😛 I’m not sure if there’s much logic behind him besides being a “mascot” for the mountain vacation destinations (lumberjacks + mountains/forests go together, I suppose?). Even as an American I can’t think of any other meaning to ascribe to him. (But that could also be because I am a city kid who is uneducated in the ways of the wilderness. :D) 

But you’re right, he is funny. I especially like this lil tabletop version:

I really love your blog, your pics are some of my fav things to see on my dash, but when I go to your blog I run into problems with the banner, and just in case you didn’t know, I thought I’d share. Since it’s big, and it stays on top when I scroll down, that means I only see one picture at the time while looking at your blog. This makes for a rather uncomfortable read :( Don’t change things just because of this if you don’t want to (and please don’t feel like you have to respond in public).

Hello friend! I meant to answer this forever ago, I’m sorry. 😦 First of all, I’m so happy to hear you like my blog! *squish* It means a lot. 🙂 

Secondly, I checked my blog and I see what you mean, you’re absolutely right. Well, on my screen I see two pictures, but I can see how it would be annoying if you were trying to scroll through everything. : I’m sure a lot of it has to do with different monitors and screen resolutions (for example, it might look okay on my screen, but totally different on someone else’s!). Truth be told, I’ve been meaning to change my theme (or at least give it a bit of a facelift) – but the last time I changed it was such a hassle I swore I’d never do it again. 😛 (We all knew that wouldn’t last long.)

I want to apologize for the inconvenience – I can’t promise my theme is going to change any time in the near future (busy work schedule + my extreme laziness is not a good combination), but I’m going to keep this in mind when I search for a new one! I’ll try to find a nice one where the banner scrolls with the rest of the page. 🙂
