Ooh, this looks awesome! I know how you feel, though–too many cool projects, too little time (or attention span, in my case :p).
I blame my trip to California! I already have one unfinished university subhood, but the entire time I was on vacation I kept thinking about how I couldn’t wait to get home and make a desert subhood, too. 😛

Animated skybox with moving clouds in blend mode is the result of research TS2 material shaders, that have allowed us to solve the problem with blend layers clipping,for example.

Stellan just wet himself, Keffria is disgusted (or pregnant again? who knows at this point), and Shena does that adorable sim-worry thing.
