How do you play with your kid/teen sims at school?

I followed this tutorial to set up my school using the hacks from Simlogical! It’s very straightforward and easy to follow, although I find that my Sims absolutely refuse to do gradework, so I mostly just summon all the kids to the lot to hang out and socialize. 🙂
