I’ve had trouble with sims using dining chairs that are placed off grid, but not stationary living room chairs or sofas. Worst case, you try it and they get upset and then you switch it back, right?

you can use snapobjects off for the sofa. They still sit in them with no problems. I don’t use the quarter tile cheat for that very reason. =)

My sims use furniture off grid, both with quarter tile and snap objects. 🙂
Good to know! Yeah, I’ve had problems with dining chairs that were placed off-grid, so I assumed it was the same for all seating. I’ve had Sims use the wedding arch placed off-grid, so I figured it’d work for some things and not for others. I guess it’s just a matter of trial and error! (There’s just nothing more frustrating than having everything evenly spaced out and Sims can’t use the items, though. :P)
