Wow! I think my computer would flip me off, then blow up if I tried to play with that kind of custom content. I am impressed and kind of jealous.

Aww! I’m pretty fortunate my computer hasn’t done that to me yet. 😛 I put together a new computer about two years ago – it’s pretty decent by itself – but then I bought myself a solid state drive as a graduation present and it’s quite a miracle worker. :3 I bought it primarily for playing the Sims, but the SSD is so much faster that I’ve been using it for everything, it’s almost full. D: 

To be fair, I used to play the game on my old computer with a similar amount of custom content…I have a downloading problem.

and how long does all that take to load?

About 20-25 minutes to load the game, an extra ten minutes or so to enter CAS/load a family. Surprisingly not terrible. D: My old computer used to take at least an hour to load with a similar amount of CC.

I’ve been slowly going through my downloads and removing whatever I can out of subfolders to see if that makes a difference. And I’m still renaming files, even though the first time I tried that it didn’t make a difference at all.
